Chain Making

Chain Making uses wire to make a variety of chain patterns. Some, but not all, patterns are soldered.  Chains are made from scratch using silver, copper or brass. Soldering is taught with paste solder.Chain maille is another term used for this ancient craft.  Most of the wire used is either silver, gold, copper, or brass.  These materials are easy to bend and solder.

Chain Gang – People interested in a quiet environment to do silversmithing at the shop may come together to share ideas. This is not a class so experience is necessary in whatever project you are working on.
