Recommendation for a successful trip include: full tank of gas, 4WD, food, WATER, rockhounding tools and storage containers for rocks, first aid kit, clothing appropriate to conditions, maps, sunscreen & bug spray.
Nice to have: GPS, camera, notebook and writing instrument, ATV’s, metal detector, gold pan (hey, you never know!) & folding chairs.
